New Innovation from Tersus

The first Tersus chemical storage and dispensing units has recently been supplied at the recently extended Miramar House Care home owned by Signature Senior Lifestyle at Herne Bay in Kent.
The unit has been developed by Tersus to address the age old issue of how to neatly and safely hold and store laundry chemicals.
The unit also holds and mounts the major components of our ozone system, keeping both chemicals and ozone safe, secure and cleanly out of the way. When closed the top is used as a work surface.
One of the many pieces of innovation that are making Tersus Laundries, clean, neat and correct!

Tersus attend the Welsh National Care Awards.

As guests of Barchester Health Care Debbie and Jeremy Hartigan enjoyed a glittering night’s entertainment at Cardiff City Hall recently.

The nights consisted of a number of awards and Jeremy was very happy to be asked to award the national housekeeping award to the winners.
Jeremy commented:
Debbie and I were delighted to be asked by my old customers and friends at Barchester to join them on one of their tables at the latest Welsh awards night. The City Hall is a fantastic venue and spending the night with the Barchester crew is always a night to remember! Congratulations to all nominees and winners, housekeeping is a much maligned and under estimated role, but one that is crucial to the operation of care. Tersus are happy to support this event and would like to thank the excellent team at Vibe PR who once again made the event run like clockwork.

Customers, suppliers and friend’s joined Tersus and its partners for the inaugural race day at Lingfield Park on 25th August 2011.

70 customers and suppliers joined Jeremy and the Tersus team for a fantastic day night at the prestigious Lingfield Park Race course in Surrey.

The event was Tersus’s way of showing its appreciation for the support it has received which has enabled it to create a pipeline of more than 150 new care home developments.

After a Pimm’s reception and sumptuous lunch  the second race of the day was the Tersus Laundry Services Handicap Stakes, this was swiftly followed by two more Tersus sponsored races and then after a short break, a formal dinner and drinks which carried on well into the night.

Geoff and Sue Hodgson (Caring Times editor and wife) joined the guests for the day and a full article can be seen in Oct 2011 edition.

Geoff commented

“Guests at the Tersus launch included directors and owners of major care operators. Over the course of the race day, drinks and dinner the networking chat was forward think and positive. Without doubt, there is a strong appetite for growth and development among the quality providers. And with this level of sector support at the Tersus launch, Jeremy and his are firming-up to be favourite in their efforts to create a cost effective solution to catering and laundry quality.”
